Yes a little under one year ago, FYP was created.  I just wanted to thank each and everyone of you that continue to stop by and check to see what we have to offer!

We have in total a little over 6300+ hits since Jan. of 2011! I never even thought that would happen. It may not seem like a lot to some other bloggers, but to me it’s a thrill to provide my input into the amazing Music & Arts scene in Philadelphia.

I hope to double the hits before the 200th post! Couldn’t do without you guys!

I’ve said this on here before, female vocals and I sometimes do not get along, with the exception of Janis Joplin, Jenny Lewis and Adele. But I would like to now add Arrah Fisher to this list, you maybe saying to yourself, “Michael that’s a bold statement.” I’d reply “PISH-POSH!” And here is why…

Soldier Ghost EP has such a raw aggression behind it and filling in the gaps is this powerful, delightful and compassionate voice. You can feel the heart and soul of every word that Ms. Fisher is pouring out.  Every song has a new passion behind it and a new template of songwriting.

As the EP comes to a close, all I want to do is put it on repeat. I honestly could listen to this for hours on end and never get bored. Well Done. Simply Well Done.
