On Saturday, there is a chance that Kung Fu Necktie might get figuratively burnt to the ground.  Welcome back to Philly our Baltimore-based pals and “no joke, real deal” Rock N’ Roll band, J. Roddy Walston and the Business.  Think if a dual-headed Jerry Lee Lewis and Leon Russell fronted AC/DC, and there you go.  They’ve been taking the country by storm the past few months and are back to philly for the first time since their May residency at Northstar Bar.

From start to finish you can expect a serious barnburner with country/rock n’ roller, Brad Hinton and Band kicking things off.  You may have seen Brad lending his multi-instrumental genius to the likings of Hezekiah Jones, Wissahickin Chicken Shack and Mason Porter but on Saturday Brad will be front and center singing his own songs.  Check out his most recent record, The Mourning Dove EP.  Brad also just wrapped up coordinating an incredible month of “Philly Sings Philly” at The Fire so give him a round of applause for that as well! Hellyea.

Second up will be Toy Soldiers.  I can promise you dancing and we’re going to debut 3-4 brand new songs that will be on our spring release.

REMINDER: SHOW STARTS EARLY! So be prompt, 7:30 and it will all be wrapped up by 10:30. In which we will all indulge in post-show drink specials and then stumble over to Jonas Oesterle’s Bouffant Bangout to further lose our minds.
